Terms of Service

PITOM is a personal discovery platform. You tell us where you are, how much time you have and what you feel like, and we build a day plan for you — a small number of stops, in an order that actually walks. Plans mix free places (viewpoints, markets, museums, parks, historic sites) with, where relevant, one bookable activity offered by a third-party provider.

PITOM is operated by the PITOM team as an early-stage product. You can always reach us by replying to any email you have received from us.

By using PITOM you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old — or older where your local law requires a higher age for online services — to use PITOM. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into these terms.

You can use parts of PITOM without an account. Creating an account lets us remember your discovery preferences and the items you keep or dismiss. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

You may delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete the personal information associated with it within a reasonable period, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Plans are generated from real data sources: free places come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors), and bookable activities come from embedded provider inventory. We do not invent places or activities — but real-world information changes. Opening hours, prices, availability and conditions can differ from what a plan shows, and a listed place may be closed, busy or unsuitable on the day. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety when following a plan.

Free experiences are ranked on equal footing with paid ones. Where a booking earns us a commission, that commission never influences what we recommend or the order in which we show it.

When you book an activity shown in PITOM, the booking is made with the third-party provider (for example GetYourGuide), not with us. Their terms, cancellation rules and privacy policy govern that booking, and payment is handled by them. PITOM is not the seller or operator of those activities and is not responsible for their delivery, quality or safety.

If you join the waitlist, we will use your email address to tell you about the launch and related PITOM updates. Every message includes an unsubscribe option, and you can ask to be removed at any time by replying to any email from us.

You agree not to:

• misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it by automated scraping at disruptive volumes;
• probe or bypass security or access controls, including database access rules;
• use the service for anything unlawful, or to misrepresent your identity;
• reproduce or resell the service or its plan output as a competing product.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaches these rules, to protect the service and other users.

The PITOM name, design, and the way plans are assembled are ours. Place and map data belong to their respective owners — OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License, and provider content belongs to the providers. Your preferences and answers remain yours; you give us the right to use them only to operate and improve the service for you.

PITOM is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that plans will be error-free, that places will be open, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PITOM is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from following a plan. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim — which, for a free service, is zero. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice — by email where we have one, or in the product. Continuing to use PITOM after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the PITOM operating entity is established once registration completes, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Until then, they are governed by the law of the State of Israel. Where mandatory consumer law gives you the protection of your own country's courts and laws, that protection is unaffected.
